Cheryl asked Rotarians to keep Karen Price in their thoughts and prayers. Roberta Williams assisted with getting fuel oil to Karen’s home. Rotarians were encouraged to help Karen in any way they can.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with Winterfest and the Klondike Derby.
We received a thank you letter from the Laker Limo acknowledging the donation we gave.
“Super Saturday” District Training is Saturday, 2/8.
The Club’s Annual Valentine’s Dinner is 2/13 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sherwood.
The next Happy Hour is 2/18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cedar House and is hosted by Terry McCormick.
The Rotary Foundation Gala is on 2/22 at The Craftsman.
Discussion: FISH
Bill Conole introduced Dick Whalen from FISH. Dick explained that FISH is a local organization made up of volunteers who transport Skaneateles residents to doctor appointments, stores, banks, etc. The need drivers, especially during the winter months. The volunteers work 1-2 hours per month. Peggy Bennett, wife of Lee Bennett, joined the discussion. Peggy’s mother founded FISH in 1971. Several Rotarians signed up that evening to volunteer for FISH.
