About 20 members came to Krebs to support theCrouse Hospital Polo For Preemies/NICU Fundraiser. Rotarians gathered in Kreb’s front room for a lively discussion on the status of the lake. It was a relaxing evening. Next week our program will be on the Rotary Leadership Program.

The beginnings and the end
Last week we took a break from our usual meeting. Members attending the Polo for Preemies prequel at The Krebs on Thursday evening should let Dave Piper know for meeting credit.
Club visits
President Bill and Mary Giroux visited two clubs last week to promote Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) which takes place on September 22, 2018 in Vernon. The South Cayuga club was quite inspiring. It was formed as a result of the Aurora club's discontinuance. This fledgling club was started by Mark and his mom, Kia, as a result of Mark's experience as a Rotary exchange student. The club is working with the local food pantry and FFA as a service project.
Regular meetings resume this week on July 26th
What is Rotary Leadership Institute?
> A leadership and development program to strengthen Rotary clubs through education, collaboration and the exchange of ideas among its future leaders.
> A three-part curriculum facilitated by experienced, trained faculty members engaging participants through open discussion, problem solving and creative role-play.
> Although not an official program of Rotary International, more than 410 Rotary districts in 182 countries and geographic areas now offer it to their members.
HOW does it work?
Three One Day Parts
6-7 hour day each
50 minute segments
Discussion and Participation (not a lecture)
Skilled and Experienced Facilitators
$75 to $110 cost per session (Verona & Canandaigua are $85)
Clubs often subsidize
Light Breakfast Included
Lunch and Beverage Breaks included
