Thank You - for Your Participation .... by Lori
We want to personally thank you for responding to our “Feed the Community” campaign and for becoming an essential part of the success of our virtual pancake breakfast this year!
We see your names on the fundraiser page and/or in the checks that came in the mail … and it is like we are seeing your faces at the breakfast.
It is heartwarming how this wonderful community came together to support Rotary in its effort to help those who are struggling – even without the fun of our Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast.
With no way to safely gather due to COVID-19, yet with the need greater than ever, Rotary turned to the community for help.  The response was swift and generous with $18,225 in contributions from nearly 180 donors.  In addition, $2,500 was raised from major donors to buy Chamber of Commerce gift certificates to hand out to randomly selected donors to spend here.  It was a win-win for both the community and the merchants.
We thank you for helping us support the food pantries and Skaneateles Outreach.  We hope to see you next year when we can raise money by flipping pancakes, listening to the community band, and meeting old friends.

Thanks again for your support!
