Hello Everyone. We had a good club meeting last evening with general agreement by attendees for our club to take the following actions to help our community deal with issues arising from the current COVID-19 situation:
Father's Day raffle - this effort will be led by Lee Bennett Tyler Lorey, Craig Froelich and Lori Ruhlman. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit local needs arising from the COVID pandemic.
Food Drive - this effort will be managed by Terry McCormick, Ward Vuillemot, Andy Stevens, Gary Ozminkowski and Mary Giroux.
Details on both of the above will be provided at next week's Zoom meeting, Thursday.
Dale Zabel update - Ward let us know about fellow club member, Dale Zabel, who has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Please keep Dale and his family in your prayers. For those who missed Dale's & Louise's address last week and want send words and cards of support, it is: 1866 Villa Court, Lower Unit, Lancaster, PA 17602
So many have lost loved ones in the last few weeks. Let us hope for better times ahead, show kindness to all. and give a warm "thank you" to all of the essential workers who hare providing needed services.
See you this Thursday at 6:30 on Zoom!
Be well and be safe .... Mary

Mark your calendars for 20-26 June for an exciting opportunity to gather online with the family of Rotary for our first online convention. Now More Than Ever, Rotary Connects the World: The 2020 Rotary Virtual Convention will join you with Rotary participants around the world during a time of unprecedented challenges. Together, we’ll still experience the spirit of Rotary, be inspired by innovation, celebrate our resilience, and explore how clubs are addressing COVID-19. Experience Rotary in action during our Flag Ceremony, witness the power of connection during our general sessions, learn new ways to engage with Rotary during our breakout sessions, find inspiration from our global speakers, and much more. We have never needed Rotary — and we have never needed each other — more than we do now. We hope to see you online, because Now More Than Ever, Rotary Connects the World.

The Skaneateles Central School District, in conjunction with support from our community members, the Skaneateles Ecumenical Food Pantry, and Skaneateles Outreach, is offering meals to anyone who needs them in the difficult weeks ahead. Breakfast and lunch are available to any family, regardless of income, who needs assistance at this time.
Our kitchen will be open to prepare meals for our community over the next few weeks. You do not need to have children in the school system, and you do not need submit any financial paperwork. These are unsettling times, and we, along with the generous support of our community, will be extending our table to all of our families.
This is a great Service project to offer help, if you are able.CLICK HERE to learn more and to make contact with the program.
