PRESIDENTS' CORNER... by Pres., Doug Powell
It was a glorious night of fun, boxed dinners from Sherwood, music from Symphoria, and beautiful weather last Thursday evening.
All attendees enjoyed the opportunity to be outdoors, under the blue sky, with cookies, cheeses, fruits, and water provided by Bill Buterbaugh. Thanks most kindly to Bill and Corrine.
We are looking forward to doing a social event each month and I welcome any and all suggestions for venues and ideas for future events. These are the times where we simply enjoy each other’s company, but, also welcome new prospective members.
More to come regarding membership issues. Our BOD meeting will be August 8 at 5 PM. We will discuss ideas regarding membership and present those ideas to the current Rotarians. We plan to institute a revised schedule of club meetings as well as membership expectations.
The summer is half over!! We all need to get our dose of outdoors before the weather turns to less hospitable.
Enjoy! Cathy and I send our best to our whole community.
LAST WEEK... by Mary Giroux
The Whole meeting! Club members gathered together with spouses, significant others and friends to enjoy a beautiful summer evening at Allyn arena. Symphoria performed with a great program playing music from the past and the present. Many thanks to Bill Buterbaugh who arranged the evening complete with appetizers, beverages, box dinners from The Sherwood and dessert. Camaraderie and fellowship were enjoyed by all!
Attendance and guests were many.
50-50 - will resume next week.
Attendance & Guests - There were many!
