RI 2021-22 Theme "Serve to Change Lives"
RI President, Shekhar Mehta, a member of the Rotary Club of Calcutta-Mahanagar, West Bengal, India, revealed the 2021-22 presidential theme, Serve to Change Lives, at the virtual Rotary International Assembly earlier this year. He urged district governors-elect to become more involved in service projects, saying that caring for and serving others is the best way to live because it changes not only other people’s lives, but also our own.  CLICK HERE to read more & to hear his address on the RI website.  To meet Shekhar Mehta, CLICK HERE.
WEEKLY PROGRAMS - Need Your Input  ...  by Ward
I would like to start this out by saying SUPER KUDOS to Bill Conole for continuing to seek out and providing our Rotary Club meeting with excellent weekly programs, for more than 10 years.  They have been informative, exciting and fun.
Bill continues to seek our help to continue with this effort.  Look about your busy and exciting world to find folks that have an interesting life, profession, business or a community or world experience that would make an interesting program and you would like to share with others.
Pass these ideas, along with contact names and information to Bill C.  so that he may arrange to fit it into our weekly programs schedule.  It's a interesting & exciting world out there ..... let's share it!.
Check the website; Speakers on the Home page for upcoming programs and open (TBD) dates.

District 7150 Guidance - Holding Rotary Club Meetings and Events starting July 1, 2021
*** This is not District Policy. It is suggestive and being offered to provide   guidance for conducting club meetings and events after July 1, 2021.
Here are General Principles from Rotary International regarding Meetings and Events:
  • The health and safety of all participants in Rotary programs, meetings, and events is very important.
  • All organizers of Rotary meetings and events shall fully comply with all health and safety rules in effect in that location.
  • No in-person Rotary meeting or event shall be mandatory for any participant who may feel uncomfortable attending because of the pandemic.
  • All organizers of Rotary meetings and events are strongly encouraged to consider all health concerns in deciding whether to hold in-person meetings.
  • Event and meeting organizers are encouraged to offer hybrid solutions.
Members should feel comfortable to wear masks and social distance while attending in-person meetings or events. Some might prefer not to hug or shake hands.
Further, it is a recommendation, not a requirement, that Rotarians do not attend meetings and events in-person if not vaccinated.
Here are additional resources:

Thank you for considering the safety of others as we do the good work of Rotary.
