The Meeting - Our 21 members and two guests enjoyed a convivial evening of friendship & fellowship on a warm beautiful Fall evening in the Legion Pavilion. Excellent “Sherwood Inn Sandwiches” topped off with eskimo pies were served by Ed Evans, Bill Buterbaugh & Robin Jowaisas. A good time was had by all.
President’s Announcements:
Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) - President Dave encouraged members to zoom into this Saturday’s RLI. President Dave noted that members can attend this year’s RLI via zoom in the comfort of their homes. Dave stressed that the RLI provides attendees with invaluable information on Rotary. In addition, our club, is picking up the $25 tab for this year’s RLI.
District Conference - President Dave announced that the District Conference this Fall will be a virtual on -line event. It will occur on October17th. We will discuss this further in next week’s meeting.
Thanks - President Dave thanked Robin Jowaisas, Ed Evans & Bill Buterbaugh for setting up & coordinating our monthly legion meetings. The Endings - Ed Evans led us in the 4 Way Test to close the meeting. |
