April 30, 2026 Meeting Andy Stevens opened the meeting by leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Andy welcomed our guests who were the speakers for the evening, Devorah Nadeau and Michele Devlin, Hospice of CNY. Announcements: - A big thank you to all of the club members that participated in our Restock the Pantries Food Drive. - Our next regular meeting is Thursday, May 7th at The Sherwood with guest speaker Eric Prager, Wellness Expert. - May 14th will be our 5th Annual Spring Celebration at The Sherwood. Invite your spouse, significant other or new club member prospects to this special evening organized by Bill B and Ed who will also be serving special cocktails. The cost is $50 per person and the evening's revelry will begin at 6 pm. - Youth Exchange Program Update: The Youth Exchange Program is in need of renewed support as we look ahead. Jay gave the club a great summary of what is needed to continue our club's participation in the program. If you or your spouse or partner can help please contact Jay at jstith@healthstrategyassoc.com. - Mary let us know that the Pancake Breakfast is fast approaching. Tickets will be distributed at the May 14th meeting. This is an all hands-on deck event. If you will not be able to work on Sunday June 21 please let Mary know as soon as possible (mfgiroux0614@gmail.com). Hospice of CNY Devorah Nadeau (Development Director) and Michele Devlin (Volunteer director) from Hospice CNY gave us a great overview of services provided by Hospice CNY. Hospice CNY provides comprehensive comfort care to patients and families through unique interdisciplinary services, bereavement counseling, education and collaboration. The organization serves four CNY counties, including Onondaga and is celebrating 40 years of important and needed services. Thanks to Devorah and Michele.
