OUR TRADING BANNERS - As Rotarians travel the world, it is their custom to trade club banners with clubs or Rotarians they visit. Dale Zable presented our club with one from Chertsey Surrey England that was given to him by an English Rotarian staying at his B&B. If you plan to visit another Rotary on your domestic or international travels, make sure you take one of our banners with you to trade.
It is our tradition to display the many of banners from around the world that our members have brought back from their travels of the years at our Pancake Breakfast. Should you have any that you would like to share and display, please get it Ward over the new few weeks so that he may add it to the display.
You can few a number of the banners our members have collected in the past few years on our website. Simply click on Trading Banners located in the Photo Albums on the lower-left side of the home page. A quick link is: http://skaneatelesrotary.com/PhotoAlbums/trading-banners ... by, Ward

Skaneateles Rotary Foundation - Chuck O’Neil & Bill Stevens presented an update on the status of our Skaneateles Rotary Foundation. Chuck opened by reviewing the current status of our foundation’s finances. In addition, Chuck went over the process utilized for Rotary Club Grants.
Chuck noted that Robin Jowaisas & Bill Stevens are rotating off our foundation board. The foundation board nominated two candidates, Bill Conole & Cathy Crelot for membership to the board. After the members voted unanimously in favor of these nominations Chuck welcomed Cathy & Bill to the foundation board.
Chuck reviewed a proposed amendment to our bylaws which will allow more flexibility in the foundation’s investment activities. The members present unanimously approved this amendment.
Bill Stevens reviewed our “ Skaneateles Rotary Club Worthy Cause Disbursements; 7-1-13 through 6-30-14 & for 7-1-14 thought 5-28-15, as well as our Skaneateles Rotary Foundation Profit & Loss statements for the same periods. Bill’s thorough review showed how impressive our club’s ongoing contributions to the greater Skaneateles Community are.
