PDG Herb Jerry - PDG Ward Vuillemot announced that there will be a luncheon in the Eastwood Rotary to honor PDG Herb Jerry years of commitment to Rotary Youth Exchange, RYLA and RLI.    A special RYLA Scholarship Fund in Herb's name has been established.  The luncheon will be held in Dominick's Restaurant on Tuesday February 11th at 12:15PM.  Herb is currently in hospice at the Van Duyn Center.
Clear Path for Veterans - Before introducing our speaker Bill Conole asked all of club's veterans to rise & be recognized.  Melissa Spicer, Exec Director of Clear Path,  opened her remarks by talking about her background & how she became a co-founder of Clear Path For Veterans. Melissa explained that this non profit organization was fonded in 2011. Clear Path for Veterans is a welcoming community of staff & volunteers, many of whom are veterans. This organization focuses on veterans integration needs through outreach, wellness & socially engaging programing. Clear Path serves active duty military, veterans of all eras, family members & caregivers utilizing an individual & holistic approach.
