President Bill polled the Board of Directors, via email, to approve the application to the James Wanamaker who is sponsored by Gard Lorey. James practices dentistry in offices of Smiles Of Skaneateles, with Gard Lorey and will hold the classification of Dentistry . The BOD approved the application,
If there are no objections made to the Club Secretary, in writing, by April 17th , dues are paid and he has received Skaneateles Rotary Information, James will be inducted into our membership at our April 18th meeting.

Skaneateles Rotary Club's 51st annual Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast is June 16th.Please also mark your calendars, for Friday, June 14th AM and Saturday, June 15th AM for set-up, and Monday, June 17thAM for tear down. This makes 51 consecutive years holding our Club’s biggest fund raising event and we need every Rotarian to participate to insure its continued success. Please schedule to be in town that weekend to help out at this “fun filled” community event! This service project, which supports many worthy causes, only works if every Rotarian makes a full commitment. Thank you for your support.

THE BEGINNINGS Past President Mary Giroux resided over the weekly meeting. Mary welcomed back our club’s snowbirds. INTRODUCTIONS: Karen Price introduced exchange student, Gahyeon Han, who is from South Korea. Karen also welcomed and thanked Gahyeon’s host families who were in attendance: Caroline & Eve Lombardi, Helen Glowacki, and Connie Bohrer.
THE PROGRAM - Youth Exchange Student's Insights
Exchange Student, Gahyeon was our featured speaker for the meeting. She spoke about her experiences in Skaneateles with her host families who were so nice and friendly. Gahyeon said she had a great Christmas and received more gifts than ever. She picked apples at Beak & Skiff, went to the Bluewater Grill for her birthday, visited New York City and Chicago with her host families, and enjoyed some favorite food – especially Johnny Angel’s. Gahyeon also visited New York City with other exchange students. She spoke about how she joined basketball and track to make friends. She also participated in homecoming and haunted hallways. Gahyeon thanked our Rotary Club and her host families, and said she’ll never forget her experiences in Skaneateles.
