"SPRING FLING".....What a Night!!!! It was an evening filled with celebration, great food and drink, comraderie, member recognition and memories. After a cocktail hour with Margaritas and Mint Juleps prepared by Bill B and Ed we enjoyed a Northwest themed dinner in anticipation of Robin's upcoming move. Ed creatively and thoughtfully curated the special menu which was enjoyed by all. Following dinner there were a number of special recognitions. First the snowbirds were welcomed back: John Devins, Jack and Joan Emmer, Vince Magnota, Chuck O'Neil and Carolyn Legg, Lori Ruhlman and last but not least Roberta and Kosta. New club members since our last celebration of Spring were introduced: Larry Jerome, Corey Bauman, Kelley Wilson and Brad Wilson. So happy to have you on board! New Paul Harris levels were awarded. Al Coates was the first member recognized. Unfortunately, Al was not able to join us, so John B took a video of the award as everyone clapped and cheered for Dana. The video will be shared with Dana and Joan. Craig Froelich, Ed Evans and Robin Jowaisas were then presented with their awards.  A tribute to Robin was made. Robin and Joyce are heading to a new home in Portland Oregon in a few days to begin new adventures and be near family. We will miss Robin as he has been a steadfast club member for over 24 years. Robin has also been the club's stalwart leader of our pancake breakfast as well as our emcee for the Holiday Basket dinner for many years. Thank you to Robin for all that he has done and best of wishes to both Robin and Joyce. {see more on this meeting below} |
