NOTICE - New Members Proposal
The SRC Board of Directors approved the membership application of Cory Bond-Bauman at the BOD meeting of June 13 ,2024.
Cory resides in Skaneateles and is the owner ofThe Bond 1835 Bed & Breakfast on E.Lake Rd. She has attended past meetings & is experienced in event planning, fund raising for non-profits & education committees. . Cory is sponsored by Mike Tierney.
If there are no objections made in writing to the Club Secretary by July 5th, dues are paid and she has received Rotary information, Cory will be inducted into our membership at a meeting in July.

The Beginning:President Doug opened the meeting by leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance and welcoming our guests:
> Guests: Corey Bond Bauman and Brad and Kelly Wilson.
Announcements:
> Community Service Projects: Polo for Preemies (Crouse Hospital) is asking for our club's help on Sunday, July 28th from 11:00 to 4:30. Ayham is coordinating this project and will provide additional information as the date draws near. Bill asked for ideas from club members for an August project. Ayham is also looking for volunteers to assist people off the bus at Friday evening Community Band concerts during July and August.

The Meeting:
> New Member Induction: Induction of Lawrence Jerome as SRC's newest Member by co-membership chairs, Mike & Rosemary. Larry was a previous member of the Greensboro NC Rotary club and PHF. He lives in Skaneateles with his wive Linda and is classified as Fundraising Consultant and is sponsored by Doug Hill. He is a former active participant in Habitat for Humanity.
Please join us in welcoming Larry to our happy band of Skaneateles Rotarians.

> Pancake Breakfast Prep & Logistics: Event Chair, Mary reviewed all the prior tasks and schedules to take place over the new few days to assure another successful 54 th Father's Day Pancake Breakfast. She emphasized that it is an ALL HANDS ON EVENT and that it's not over until it's ALL OVER (facility cleaned up as we found it and all equipment cleaned and stored away). AND let's HAVE FUN.

Board of Directors Mtg Brief ... by Mary Giroux
Your Board of Directors met on Jun 13th. The following is a brief of the discussions and actions taken.
Minutes: Minutes of the April 4, 2024 meeting were approved.
Financials: Reviewed and are in good stead.
Pancake Breakfast: Mary updated the board on the breakfast status to date.
Membership Status:
> Larry Jerome to be inducted at todays club meeting.
> Cory Bond-Bauman's membership proposal submitted by Mike T. was approved. To be posted in this week's newsletter.
> Dale Drake's resignation was approved effective by the end of the month.
Next meeting: Aug 1st, 2024 at The American Legion Hall at 5:00 PM.
