Let's work together to Share Rotary with Others.
Last WEEK June 30th, 2022
Guests  - Alice Purdy, former club member and John Kopley
Membership/Attendance  - 39 active members, 15 attending
The Beginnings -  Rosemary, acting president for the week, opened the meeting by leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Danny led us in "America the Beautiful".  Members enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by the American Legion.
The Program - It was a busy evening:
Bill B presented the Paul Harris Award to former club member Alice Purdy who is visiting from Cocoa Beach.
Bill B also led the club in singing "Happy Birthday" to fellow Rotarians, Mary and Ed who both reached an undisclosed milestone.  A delicious cake was enjoyed by all!  Thanks Bill!
Joe Bianculli's membership application was received and we look forward to having Joe become our newest member.
The Pancake Breakfast was reviewed.  Final numbers are not yet available but we anticipate very favorable results.  It was noted that the attendees were happy to have the event return.  Every club member deserves a pat on the back for a job well done!
Jay gave us a summary of upcoming community service projects:  Library book sale take down in July, Clear Path for Veterans return to school event in August and the Duck Dash in September.  Kudos to Jay and his committee for keeping us engaged!
Rosemary led us in a round of applause for the Legion and their delicious dinner.
And, as a grand finale to the meeting Rosemary presented the gavel to Ed and Ayham and announced their new club roles as President and Vice President.  Thanks for stepping up!!
The Ending - Ed and Ayham led us in the Four Way Test.
