Pancake Breakfast Preliminary Results - by ,,, Robin Jowaisas
It's all over but the shouting and cheering as our 47th Annual Pancake Breakfast is in the history books. While it will be a few weeks before we have a better feel for our financial results, the event itself was an unqualified success that we all can be justly proud of. Attendance at 2933 was 53 more than last year. Considering the adverse parking conditions that undoubtedly turned lots of folks away, this attendance figure is outstanding. Our customers had very few complaints and lots of wonderfully positive comments like "best pancakes I ever had", "sausages were nice and greasy...just the way I like them", "the eggs were creamy smooth except for the eggshells" (west side), and "the service rivalled that at the Krebs". Hopefully, we all had a good time and have recovered from sore feet, tired legs and aching shoulders. What a great organization we are to be able to pull off such a fantastic event for our community in support of the many good works we as Rotarians accomplish throughout the year. We truly can be justly proud!

LAST WEEK: ... by Bill Conole
Pancake Breakfast Prep - Robin asked John Moran to go over the status of our ticket sales for our Father’s Day Breakfast. Robin thanked Ward & Lori Ruhlman for their excellent publicity. Robin expressed his appreciation to Dale Zabel, Charley McElroy, Jack Hyatt, Dan Roach, Chuck O’Neil & to the many other club members who are working so hard to make this year’s breakfast a success. Rob Jowaisas reviewed the Pancake Breakfast Timetable for the next four days. This included a reminder to all of our members of their assignments & responsibilities. Robin stressed that this event only works if every Rotarian makes
a full commitment. Our 2015 Breakfast is our 47th Rotary Father’s Day Breakfast. Robin closed by noting that if everyone pitches in this year’s breakfast is sure to be a success.
