Board of Directors Mtg notes ... by Mary Giroux  Your Board of Directors met on July 7th. The following is a brief of the discussions and actions taken.Attndees: Ed Evans, Ayham Boucher, Duane Weaver, Lori Ruhlman, Jay Stith, David Lee, Mike Tierney, Rosemary Mondo and Bill Buterbaugh (Rotarian/guest) - Call to Order - President Ed Evans called the meeting to order at 5:00
- Community Service - Jay Stith reported on upcoming community service projects. A project is planned for each remaining month of 2022. Look for announcements in the newsletter.
- Club Finances - Duane reported on Club finances. We are in good shape according to Duane.
- Worthy Causes - The Board approved a donation to the Skaneateles Community Band as well a donation to the Boy Scouts. Both organizations participated in our Pancake Breakfast.
- Foundation - Goals were established for the club for the 2022-2023 year. The club goal for Rotary International Foundation is $5500 and for Polio Plus is $2000.
- Meeting Structure - The board approved a new schedule for meetings beginning August 1st. In person meetings will be the first and third Thursday of each month (and fifth when applicable). Additional information to follow.
- Next BOD meeting is on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 5:00 prior to the club meeting.
