The Board of Directors have proposed the following slate of (2020/21) Club Officers & (2020/22) Directors, which are to be voted upon at the Skaneateles Rotary club's Annual Meeting scheduled for Jan. 14th, 2021. If there are any objections and/or proposed changes to this slate, please contact the club Secretary, Mary Giroux in writing by January 12th.

Your Board of Directors met on Dec 28th via Zoom with the following is a brief of the discussions and actions taken.

SRC Financials - reviewed by Duane. Funds are down a bit as we do not benefit from 50/50's and Happy Dollars.
Dues - to be invoiced via email with a $5 increase to $85/semi-annual, as approved at the September BOD meeting. A notice of the new procedure will be emailed to the membership prior to the invoice distribution and posted in the Newsletter. (see below)
BOD position - Lori Ruhlman was approved to fill the vacancy previously held by Chris Cheney (6 months remaining in the term).
Slate of 2021-22 Ofcrs & 2021-23 Dirs - Discussed and approved. Once it has been confirmed with the candidates, it will be published via email & Newsletter for a vote on at the Annual Meeting on the 14th of January. All positions not filled. (see notice above)

Future Skaneateles Rotary Club semi-annual dues will be invoiced via Email. This will allow you to pay on-line via credit-card through our Website system.You may also pay, as in the past, via check to the address that will be noted on the invoice.
NOTE - To pay via CC you will required to sign in with your Access-Code and Password. If you do not have these, the system will take you though a process you reset the password. Should you have any difficulty resetting the password, please contact Ward for assistance.

You are invited to a zoom event on Tuesday, February 2nd with the Eastwood Rotary Club featuring special guest Drew Kessler. A Rotarian since he was 20, he is the past District Governor of Rotary District 7210 in the Hudson Valley and was recently selected as the youngest ever Rotary International Director for 2022-2024 from Zones 28/32, which includes our District 7150. As we start the mid-Rotary year, our membership has made good headway to meeting our year's objectives of $5,100 annual giving & $2,000 PolioPlus contributions to The Rotary Foundation to support the many Rotary Foundation's life saving and life-changing projects through out our world.
Our Annual Giving (AG) and PolioPlus (PP) totals to date are: $1,475 (AG) & $2,732 (PP), for a total of $4,208 YTD.
To date, 21 of our 51 members have participated. If you have done so yet, please send your checks to Bill Buterbaugh, made out to "The Rotary Foundation". We are looking for 100% membership participation.

For the 13th consecutive year, The Rotary Foundation has received the highest rating — four stars — fromCharity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities in the U.S.
The Foundation earned the recognition for adhering to sector best practices and executing its mission in a financially efficient way, demonstrating both strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Only one percent of the organizations Charity Navigator evaluates have received 13 consecutive 4-star evaluations.

"This exceptional designation sets the Foundation apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness."
