LAST WEEK - Jun 25, 2020 ... by Mary Giroux  Membership/Attendance: - 47 Active members - 13 attending.Guests: Jason Armijo (prospective member) Program: President Dave Lee presided over the meeting with a beautiful view from Cape Cod in the background. Dave opened up discussion about the format of future club meetings. Chuck O'Neil suggested a format of "mini meetings" hosted by club members. More discussion to follow. Committee chairs were also discussed. Dave reported that Tyler Lorey will be the new membership chair and would like the committee to have additional members take part in this important function. Results of the "Feed the Community" fundraiser were announced. Just over $18.000 was raised. (see below) Next week the Board will meet on Monday and the Skaneateles Rotary Foundation annual report will be presented Thursday at our next general Zoom meeting. Jason Arijo attended the meeting as a guest and also as a potential new member. We are looking forward to his joining. |

We want to personally thank you for responding to our “Feed the Community” campaign and for becoming an essential part of the success of our virtual pancake breakfast this year!
Dale has resorted the the 2020-21 District Grant Application has been approved by the district leadership and has be submitted to The Rotary Foundation (TRF) for final approval, which is expected in late summer or early fall. This is a multi-club grant (Skaneateles, Skaneateles Sunrise, Marcellus & Camillus Rotary clubs). It is to upgrade trails at Baltimore Woods and will include Rotarian hands-on assistance with resurfacing the trails. Our thanks to Dale for initiating and shepherding this grant through the process. More to come, once it has been approved by TRF.
