RAFFLE PRIZES - The Christmas Basket fund-raiser organizing committee needs fellow Rotarian support in coming up with raffle prizes. The goal is to have at least 50% of attendees win a prize. While local merchants and professionals will be canvassed again this year for prize donations, all Rotarians are also being asked to donate prizes such as a bottle of wine, a gift card, etc. Please let Roy McDonald know in advance of the event what you will be bringing in the way of a prize. Even if you can’t attend the event, please contribute a raffle prize.

A great project that supports those in our community in need .... and .... to meet and greet your Skaneateles friends, while providing Service Above Self while serving your community.
ROTARY'S COMMITMENT TO FOOD PANTRY GOES BEYOND MONETARY - My wife Sue is the lead representative to the food pantry from Grace Chapel. She wanted me to pass on the thanks of everyone at the food pantry, not just for the food and monetary donations, but always the time spent stocking shelves and other ways the Rotary pitches in and helps. .... Christmas Fund Raiser - Jack Hyatt reported that our Christmas Fund Raiser @ the Skan Country Club on Dec 4th is officially sold out. Jack reminded members to get their raffle gifts to Roy McDonald prior to the 4th. Jack encouraged everyone to contribute a small gift for the raffle. If this happens almost everyone attending the dinner will go home with a gift. Robin Jowaisas reported that last year our Christmas Dinner raised almost $11,000. Robin noted that the proceeds from our dinner are contributed to the following charities: Skaneateles Food Pantry—40%, Skaneateles Outreach Office—40% and Spafford Food Pantry—20%. Any remaining dinner follow-up funds are contributed to the Salvation Army. Jack thanked his committee members for the work they are doing to make this year’s dinner a success.
RYLA Students - Last Summer our club sponsored four students from SCHS to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Conference in Cazenovia College. Three of the RYLA attendees Allie Pietropaoli, Laurie Woodford, & Kaylie Buchholz told everyone how much they learned about leadership & teamwork at the conference. They were inspired by the conference’s motivational speakers & by their many & varied teambuilding projects. In addition to these valuable experiences, our RYLA students gained new friends schools throughout District 7150.
50/50 Winner - won by Roy MacDonald
Guests: Laura Wolford, Haley Buchholz & Ally Pretropaoli
